a little about me

{1974}
Born in Devon, England in a small hamlet village called Butterleigh.

{1983-1993}
Lots of horrid school with uniforms and regimentation in the English school system. On the bright side, born to parents that like to experience the world, travelled to a lot of Europe and England's cultural sites.

{1993}
Art school, yeah, freedom to be creative and explore new mediums including my love, printing.

{1996}
Visual Arts Degree in hand. Oh dear, got to find a job.

{1999}
Working in London as a publishing assistant, this should be interesting. First touch on graphic design through Quark.

{2002}
OK enough of rainy England, how about America. Time to don a backpack and travel the west coast of America. Found Portland made this my base.

{2003}
Still here in Portland OR, love it! Art, music and a freedom of thought.

{2006}
A variety of jobs in administration, finding my feet again in this new country.

{2007}
Time to go back to school, and touch base with my creativity! Retraining needed in graphic design.

{2008}
Freelancing in graphic design, meeting talented people, this is great.

{2010}
Big year, internship with Oregon Zoo, featured Robots Logo on Katu.com, and a few freelance opportunites making it all happen. Looking forward to doing more!
